Professional background and experience
Chef Dhumal brings over two decades of experience in the global hospitality industry, having worked with luxury hotels and resorts across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, and island destinations. His career spans senior culinary leadership and pre-opening roles in diverse international markets.
An alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Kufri, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration and has also completed advanced hospitality management studies through the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration (via edX).
Previous leadership roles
His professional journey includes leadership assignments with prominent hospitality brands such as Taj Hotels, Hilton, Sheraton, Radisson Blu, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Hideaway Beach Resort Maldives, and Serena Hotels International. Most recently, he has been associated with executive chef and pre-opening projects in India and overseas luxury destinations.

Chef Dhumal specialises in Western and multi-cuisine operations, all-day dining, banqueting, fine dining, and large-scale culinary management. His approach emphasises menu innovation, operational discipline, food safety standards, and consistently high levels of guest satisfaction.
