IHG Hotels & Resorts Signs voco Lucknow with Rajdeep Infra

voco Brand to Enter Uttar Pradesh Capital with 135-Room Hotel

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Rajdeep Infra & Sales Pvt Ltd for the development of voco Lucknow, marking the brand’s debut in the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The hotel is currently under construction and is scheduled to open in Q3 2029.

With this signing, voco Lucknow will become the third IHG-branded hotel in the city, joining the existing Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza properties, further strengthening IHG’s presence in the region.

Strategic Location in a Growing Urban Market

The upcoming hotel will be located in Ashiyana, a well-connected residential and commercial area of Lucknow with easy access to key city districts and close proximity to Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. Lucknow continues to witness steady demand growth driven by government activity, education, business travel, and tourism, positioning it as a key market for premium hospitality development.

Project and Brand Overview

voco Lucknow will feature 135 guest rooms and will be developed under IHG’s voco brand, which combines the individuality of a standalone hotel with the systems and standards of a global hospitality group. Known for its relaxed yet premium positioning, voco focuses on distinctive design, informal service, and a consistently high-quality guest experience.

The signing aligns with IHG’s broader strategy to expand its premium portfolio across fast-growing state capitals and urban centres in India.
