Hilton Expands Airport Portfolio with India’s Largest DoubleTree in Bengaluru

DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport Opens at Aerospace Park

Hilton has announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport, marking the largest DoubleTree by Hilton property in India. The 304-key hotel strengthens Hilton’s growing footprint in Bengaluru, where the company now operates seven hotels across luxury, full-service, and focused-service segments.

Developed in partnership with Dangayach Group, the new hotel is located within the Aerospace Park, approximately 15 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport. As the first hotel to open in this industrial and research hub, the property is strategically positioned to serve corporate travellers, aviation-linked businesses, and transit-driven demand in Bengaluru’s rapidly developing northern corridor.

Strategic Location for Corporate and Transit Demand

The hotel’s proximity to the airport and major industrial zones makes it well suited for conferences, large-scale meetings, and short-stay transit guests. Its location also provides convenient access to emerging business districts, technology hubs, and aerospace and manufacturing clusters around North Bengaluru.

Leadership Commentary

Commenting on the opening, Zubin Saxena, Senior Vice President and Regional Head, South Asia, Hilton, said that Bengaluru continues to play a pivotal role in Hilton’s India growth strategy. He noted that the launch of the country’s largest DoubleTree by Hilton reflects Hilton’s confidence in the city’s long-term potential and its focus on thoughtful expansion across key gateway markets with the right brand mix.

Atul Dangayach, Managing Director, Dangayach Group, added that bringing an internationally recognised brand to Bengaluru’s northern corridor is a significant milestone for the group. He highlighted that the hotel’s scale, location, and design make it well positioned to support conferences, corporate travel, and transit-led stays, while also appealing to domestic travellers.

Accommodation, Meetings, and Wellness Facilities

DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Airport features 304 guest rooms and suites, designed for comfort and functionality. The hotel offers over 9,185 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, including two ballrooms and multiple meeting rooms, catering to business conferences, social events, and large-format gatherings.

Recreational and wellness facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a spa, and a fully equipped fitness centre, allowing guests to relax and recharge during their stay.

Food & Beverage Experiences

Food and beverage form a central part of the hotel’s offering, with three distinct dining concepts:

  • Saus – The all-day dining restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with menus focused on house-made marinades, relishes, and seasonings that elevate familiar global favourites.

  • Brew33 – The hotel’s signature lounge bar, transitioning from freshly brewed coffee and casual daytime meetings to craft beers, classic cocktails, and globally inspired small plates in the evening.

  • Brew33 Express – A convenient self-service coffee concept designed for guests on the move, offering quick access to freshly brewed beverages throughout the day.

Strengthening DoubleTree’s Growth in India

According to Vincent Ong, Vice President, Full-Service Brands, Asia Pacific, Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton is currently the company’s fastest-growing brand in India. He noted that the Bengaluru Airport property brings the brand’s hallmark warmth, comfort, and care to life through thoughtful amenities, welcoming spaces, and a guest experience designed to help travellers unwind and feel at home.

Hilton currently has close to 100 operating and pipeline hotels across South Asia, underlining its long-term commitment to the region.
