Comprises signature Japanese selections across appetisers, cocktails, soups, main course and desserts

Vintage Asia, the fine-dining Asian restaurant at JW Marriott Kolkata, is going to unveil its redefined menu which has been curated by Chef De Cuisine – Asian, Chef Tej - B Saru. The new additions in the menu comprise signature Japanese selections.

Speaking on the new menu, B Saru said that he was excited to showcase the culinary heritage of Asia, adding this would also focus on bringing the best of Japanese cuisine at the restaurant. He said the restaurant’s emphasis would be on interactive presentations.

The menu would include options among wok, soups, grills, appetisers, main course and desserts including over 20 variations of dim sums like Edamame & Truffle, Truffle & Gold – Mushroom Nest, Siu Mai Chicken and Mostly Shiitake, ‘Xiao Long Bao – Pork Tea, Siu Mai Chicken and Mostly Shiitake and Lamb in Spicy Kefir Lime and Fresh Edamame among others.

In appetisers, guests would be able to find options like Sea Food Salad, Deep Fried Tofu with Chinese Rock Salt, Crisp Beijing Lamb in Fragrant Chilli and Crisp Fried Calamari Garlic and Fresh Chives. The plant-based big salts would include Kung Pao Mock Duck, Pork Spare Ribs with Light Soya Glaze and Star Anise, and Barbecue NZ Lamb Chops, Kaffir Lime, Lemon and Clarified Butte’. The wok-tossed section would include options in noodles and ramens like Sesame Soba Noodle,  YakiUdon Noodle and Spicy Black Miso Ramen. The redefined menu also includes cocktails and desserts.
