Operated by Grupo Hotelero Prisma, JW Marriott Monterrey Valle is hotel giant Marriott International’s latest luxury offering in Mexico.
The bustling city of Monterrey has been boosted by the arrival of a new 250-key hotel.
JW Marriott brand expands in Mexico
One of Marriott International’s most prestigious flags, JW Marriott, has added another property to its portfolio. JW Marriott Monterrey Valle, the brand’s fifth hotel in Mexico, is a new hotel in the centre of San Pedro Garza Garcia that takes full advantage of its impressive surroundings, set against the imposing backdrop of the Sierra Madre mountains.
“We are excited to continue to grow our JW Marriott portfolio in Mexico with the opening of JW Marriott Monterrey Valle,” said Bruce Rohr, global brand leader of JW Marriott.
“Whether travelling for business or pleasure, this dynamic, bustling city is perfect for the JW Marriott experience, one which centres on the holistic wellbeing of our guests and invites them to pause, reset and live in the moment. A respite from the outside world, JW Marriott Monterrey Valle provides a modern, luxurious and wellness-focused setting for travellers seeking a stay that nourishes the mind, body and spirit.”
“We are delighted to expand the presence of JW Marriott in one of the most important cities for the economy and social life in Mexico, with Monterrey being the home to both national and global companies that are part of the history and development of this country,” added Leandro Castillo Parada, CEO of Grupo Hotelero Prisma. “We hope that our guests will feel inspired and enriched by their stay in this city of world-class museums, stunning mountains and an emerging culinary scene.”
A mindful retreat
The hotel’s design prioritises class and style, and is inspired by mindfulness at every turn.
JW Marriott has put its signature stamp of sophistication on each of the 250 guestrooms and suites, and the results are calming, home-from-home spaces that soothe and renew. There are also several enticing F&B outlets for visitors to discover, including Orfebre Cocina Artesana, created by acclaimed chef Sergi Arola.
Meanwhile, Spa by JW offers an array of treatments – time-poor business travellers in particular may be tempted by the Express Treatment pods – and fitness fanatics can burn off some energy at the 24-hour fitness centre and outdoor pool. There are also nine event rooms encompassing more than 10,000 sq ft in total.
JW Marriott Monterrey Valle was acquired by Fibra Fin and is operated by Grupo Hotelero Prisma.
