Having worked 22 years for The Ascott Limited, Vincent Miccolis has achieved various milestones since his appointment as regional general manager including the establishment of properties in major cities in KSA (Jeddah, Riyadh and Makkah).

The Ascott Limited’s future projects the opening of a Somerset property in Atyrau in Kazakhstan, making it the first one of its hotels to launch in the region. Also to come is the opening of 147 units slated in 2020 along with the growth of the mid-scale brand in the region with the signing of a Citadines in Al Khobar. The brand’s growth strategy is to continue exploring new markets with an added focus on Africa, deepen its footprint in the existing market such and target middle countries such as Jordan, Lebanon and Kuwait.

Miccolis has shared his expertise at several forums including the Arabian Travel Market where he participated in a panel titled ‘The Speed of Change: Private Accommodation & the Middle East’.
