In London, The Edwardian Manchester has joined The May Fair as the second property from privately owned hotel group Edwardian Hotels London to join Radisson Hotel Group’s Radisson Collection.

The property, an adaptive reuse of the city’s historic Grade II-listed Free Trade Hall, is the collection’s third hotel in the U.K. overall. The property is reflagging from the Radisson Blu brand.

The hotel has 263 guestrooms and recently underwent a £12 million renovation.

“Expanding the Radisson Collection brand in the U.K. is a great achievement,” Federico J. González, president/CEO of Radisson Hospitality AB, said in a statement. “The historic and cultural significance of The Edwardian Manchester makes it the ideal addition to the collection and celebrates our successful partnership with Edwardian Hotels London.”

Public spaces at the Edwardian Manchester include a spa and a gym with a subterranean swimming pool, a sauna, steam rooms and treatment areas. Food and beverage options include the contemporary Japanese and Mexican small plates restaurant Peter Street Kitchen and The Library, which offers an a la carte menu and afternoon tea.

The hotel is close to the Manchester Central Convention Complex.
