Park Centraal Amsterdam, previously known as Park Hotel Amsterdam, has been reborn with a new lease of life.

The hotel has rebranded significantly and now seeks to embody its heritage and its enviable location in the city’s cultural epicentre.

Nearby, guests will be able to find the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam’s Vondelpark, the vibrant Liedesplein, DePijp as well as the music temple Paradiso – a former church which was converted back in the 1970s.

The hotel has 189 rooms which mix comfort with Dutch influences and contemporary design.

Sharp colours, rich textures and artworks by local artist Kat Klerks combine to create perfectly designed spaces within the heart of Amsterdam.

Upon arrival, a beautiful three-dimensional sculpture located on the ceiling guides guests to a retro 1970s-themed reception desk.

The hotels wide range of eye-catching artwork includes 16 porcelain heart-shaped pieces by FOS Studio Collection.

“Park Centraal is a true celebration of its surroundings; a place where history, contemporary design and invigorating spaces inspired by the Dutch way of living and nearby landmarks intertwine.

“The building has functioned as a hotel for over a century and we are incredibly proud to have played a role in its transition into a destination that’s current and exciting,” said Bram van der Hoek, chief executive, Europe Hotels Private Collection.
