The Lowry Hotel in Manchester has unveiled a new room type as it rounds off a year of major development and investment.
The hotel has introduced a new fleet of junior suites, that each include a new sleeping space, large dressing room and relaxation area designed by Goddard Littlefair.
The past year has seen a number of improvements rolled out across The Lowry, with upgrades carried out to the lobby, meeting space and the River Restaurant and bar area, which was revealed in September 2019.
Also refurbished this year, the 2,228 square foot Presidential Suite was given a £700k redesign and reconfiguration.
Adrian Ellis, general manager of The Lowry Hotel, commented: “It’s been an incredibly exciting year for The Lowry Hotel. We’re investing nearly £5m in developments to cement our status as Manchester’s premier five-star hotel amongst growing competition in the city.”
The Lowry Hotel has 153 bedrooms and 12 suites, as well as a spa, restaurant and bar, and a variety of meeting and event spaces.
