The UK-based Shorthouse Hospitality International has been awarded the Global Hospitality Award 2019 by LUXlife Magazine, a bimonthly luxury lifestyle magazine.

As the hospitality industry has grown significantly in recent years and with it increasing customer expectations, LUXLife Magazine annually awards the Global Hospitality Award to firms and the individuals behind them that have worked tirelessly over the past 12 months to “achieve industry leading success, client satisfaction and market growth.”

Shorthouse Hospitality International (SHI) is a hospitality services and human resources consultancy headquartered in Rochester, southeast England, which has operations across, Asia, Europe, Middle East and the South Pacific Islands.

Based on its expertise in the cruise, hospitality and human resources industries, SHI provides a hands-on approach to services focused on operations, corporate audits, human capital, and signature projects such as pre-launch and dry docks. Clients served range from large to small organizations, in both the private and public sectors, including Storylines and Saga Cruises.

According to Neil Shorthouse, Founder and Chief Executive, the company is looking to increase its international partnerships with firms like Larimer & Co, Orlando, Florida and Elite Staff Training, Sydney, Australia. Plans to develop Shorthouse Hospitality Maldives, and within the next few years Shorthouse Hospitality Thailand, are also underway.
