Anitha Simon, as the new director of human resources of Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa, takes on a leadership position to create a positive environment, wherein the whole team is aligned with the goals of the hotel.

Anitha has a background of repeated success in implementing best HR practices and building successful HR department start-ups through her pre- opening experiences’. Her diverse management styles, quick thinking and eloquent communication has exemplified her ability to build strong and lasting relationships. As the Director of Human Resource at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa, Anitha will implement her excellent interpersonal communication skills, critical thinking, budget handling, counselling, and management skills to further boost the dynamic energy at the resort.  She ensures applicable laws, regulations, brand policies at the hotel, and maintains effective communications at all levels of management.

Anitha has completed her Master of Business Administration in Human Resources and Finance and Bachelor of Nutrition, Food Service Management & Dietetics, from Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai. Her professional journey began as an HR Executive at Avatar International Chennai, and she worked her way across various international hospitality brands such as Traders Hotel, Chennai by Shangri- La, Courtyard by Marriott, Chennai, ITC Hotels Limited – Sheraton Park Hotel & Tower, Hilton Chennai, before taking on her new role at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa.
