Emaar Hospitality Group’s cluster manager, Riad Abi Haider, has 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry, nine of which have been spent with the group.

Currently operating nine hotels and more than 5,000 rooms in the Middle East and North Africa region, since Haider joined the company, the group has expanded in GCC, the UK and African markets. Last year, the group launched two brands — Vida - Emaar Hospitality Dubai and Manzil - Emaar Hospitality Dubai.

The brand’s growth strategy features the improvement of its services and hospitality, automatically improving the brand’s engagement with its guests with a focus on increasing guest arrivals from key feeder markets.

The firm is initiating sustainable moves into the market. Haider said: “UAE will see a rise in sustainable programmes like our ‘The Pearl Pledge’ initiative that conserves water, marine resources.”

One of Haider’s key accomplishments was the reopening and cluster initiative ideas to maintain overhead costs at the Address Dubai Mall and Address Boulevard.
