Keswani joined the Lemon Tree Group in May 2012 as Chairman of Carnation Hotels Pvt. Ltd., a company he jointly promoted, with Lemon Tree Hotels, as the management arm of the Group. While he will continue to play this role, he also assumed the role of Deputy Managing Director at Lemon Tree Hotels effective from January 1, 2014.
Keswani has worked across various hotels in India and overseas, including in Saudi Arabia, Colombo, Shimla, Bengaluru, New Delhi and Mumbai. Prior to joining the Lemon Tree Group, Rattan was President of Trident Hotels from April 2008 till April 2012. In this role, he was responsible for ten Trident Hotels in India. In addition, he oversaw Maidens Hotel, Delhi and Clarkes Hotel, Shimla.
Speaking about his new role, Keswani said, “I am delighted to take on this additional responsibility at Lemon Tree Hotels. The Group has established a new benchmark in the industry. It is today, the fastest growing chain of hotels in its category and among the most awarded as well. It will be an exciting journey for me. I look forward to working with the team and contributing to Lemon Tree’s continued growth and success.”
Talking about the new announcement, Patu Keswani, Chairman and Managing Director, Lemon Tree Hotels said, “We are pleased to have Keswani on board as the Deputy Managing Director of Lemon Tree Hotels. He brings with him a wealth of experience.
