Six new hotels to be opened in Africa by Radisson Hotel Group in 5 years. The decision has been taken by the Radisson fraternity to introduce a set of six hotels in Africa. Some of the hotels will be new along with the old ones which are to be renovated. This decision clearly shows the commitment of the Radisson group towards the African continent and also highlights the announcement which was recently made about its strengthened African development team structure. The Chief Development Officer and the Executive Vice President of Radisson Hotel Group, Elie Younes, said that the new addition of all the six hotels would help them to be on track in the development of over all 150 hotels that are already in operation and under construction in the continent, in the next five years. He further added this would make their debut in new markets with the inclusion of some new brands and also strengthen their presence in the cities they have identified for their growth. The main purpose of the company is to expand its operations in the cities that the brand has not covered yet. They have even changed the brand strategy to offer a better value to the hotel owners, investors, business associates, and other parties involved in the process. The following are the six hotels the brand has announced to launch. Radisson Collection Hotel in Bamako the capital of Mali Radisson Blu Hotel, City of Abuja, capital of Nigeria Radisson Hotel and Convention Centre in the city of Johannesburg. Radisson Hotel in Addis Ababa, the capital and largest city of Ethiopia. Radisson Hotel and Apartments in Accra, the capital city of Ghana Park Inn by Radisson, at DUBE Trade Port, in Durban, South Africa
