Princess continues to be all-in on technology on its newest ships, Sky Princess and Enchanted Princess. On top of its signature OceanMedallion experience and a high-tech escape room, the two ships will also feature a new-to-Princess tech-driven musical.

5-SKIES will be a high-tech musical spectacular set to a contemporary song list and enhanced with digital effects, acrobatic performances and elaborate costume and set designs. The story is set within a virtual gaming world in which a gamer must complete a series of increasingly-difficult levels while interacting with others in the game. The ultimate goal? To reach the Sky Princess, of course.

"Our team of creators and collaborators have once again pushed the boundaries of theatrical entertainment design at sea and 5-SKIES will take our guests on a musical journey through a digital universe of spectacle, sight and sound,” said Denise Saviss, Princess Cruises' vice president of Entertainment Experience. "5-SKIES will surely wow our audiences."

5-SKIES was designed by the same creative team behind the recently-announced Rock Opera that will also debut aboard Sky Princess and Enchanted Princess. When it debuts in the Mediterranean in October, Sky Princess will also feature an all-new suite category called Sky Suites, more than 25 restaurants and bars, the line's largest thermal suite, and a new jazz lounge called Take Five. The ship will reposition to Fort Lauderdale in December.
