Afsar holds a Degree in Commerce & Diploma in Hotel Management from Utkal University. His career started with The Orchid an eco-friendly hotel in Mumbai where he worked as an F&B Associate. He then moved onto Grand Hyatt Mumbai and to the first Accor hotel in India, Novotel which is in HITEC City, and Hyderabad where he got appointed as an Assistant manager and further got promoted as one of the Director Restaurants in the hotel.

He then went onto “The St Regis Mumbai” where he worked as an Assistant Director Food and Beverage. He then moved onto Le Meridian Coimbatore as Food and Beverage Manager in, His constant hard work and innovative ideas has made him climb to the top of his career ladder.

On the new appointment, P. Ramachandran, General Manager, said, “We are very glad to have such an experienced Manager taking on the reigns of Food and Beverage department at Le Meridian Coimbatore.
