Girl, 4, Dies Two Days After Being Found In Twin Cities Hotel Pool

A 4-year-old Minneapolis girl died two days after being pulled from a hotel pool in the Twin Cities.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office says that Lamyah Lou Yvette Reece died at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis on Monday.

This came two days after she was found in a pool at the AmericInn Hotel at 2200 Mounds View Boulevard in Mounds View.

The medical examiner ruled her cause of death as being from complications of freshwater drowning.

The AmericInn in Mounds View has an indoor water center that includes a pool, hot tub, children's pool and a water slide.
