Singapore’s Fragrance Hotel Group will later this month open a brand new Novotel in the Perth CBD in partnership with Accor which, at 431 rooms, will become the city’s second-largest hotel.

Due for a soft opening of 40 rooms on 19 December, the Novotel Perth Murray Street will be located next to Shafto Lane and in prime position to provide travellers with central access to a key part of the WA capital’s premium food and beverage scene. Further opening phases will see the rest of the hotel’s room stock progressively opened until by the first quarter of 2020, it eventually takes Accor’s total inventory in Perth to 13 hotels and over 2,400 rooms and suites.

Novotel Perth Murray Street will be the second hotel in Australia for the Fragrance Hotel Group. The Singaporean company also owns Tasmania’s largest hotel in the form of the 296-room Ibis Styles Hobart.

Perth’s new Novotel will be the second Australian property for the Fragrance Hotel Group.

Key features of the new hotel will be a selection of four restaurants and bars, four meeting rooms and conference room and a 12th floor fitness centre and spa facility which will offer a swimming pool, steam room and sauna.

Accor Pacific Chief Operating Officer, Simon McGrath, said Accor was proud to announce its latest project with the Fragrance Group.

“The Novotel brand has been completely revitalised and offers a modern, elegant and increasingly digital space for families, business travellers and leisure guests who can take time to unwind or make time to reconnect with friends, family or colleagues.

“We are confident in the growth of international tourism in Perth and having the renowned global branding of Novotel and Accor’s worldwide distribution will help to bring new international visitors to Perth,” he added.
