The Hotel Zags Portland, a new boutique hotel in Downtown Portland, Oregon, has announced the appointment of Felicia Rahm as Director of Sales & Marketing. Drawing upon her strong background in sales, marketing and management, Rahm leads the hotel's sales & marketing team. Her team specializes in creating innovative strategies and initiatives to draw new and repeat business, boosting revenues from meetings and events clientele, and keeping the property on the radar of business and leisure travelers alike.

The Hotel Zags Portland, located in Portland's Fountain District, encourages travelers to experience Portland's natural beauty, quirky culture, urban adventures and dynamic art scene through local partners and programming. Rahm arrived at The Hotel Zags Portland from Yotel Boston, an upper midscale property set in Boston's Seaport District, where she was Director of Sales & Marketing since summer 2018.

Other properties to benefit from Rahm's sales & marketing acumen include Copley Square Hotel in Boston, and Crowne Plaza Portland Downtown Convention Center. Previously, Rahm focused on sales with roles including Director of Group Sales at The Heathman Hotel, a 4-Star/4-Diamond address in Downtown Portland; Corporate Sales Manager at Red Lion Hotel on the River in Jantzen Beach, Oregon; and Sales Manager-SMERFE Market at John Q. Hammons Hotels and Resorts in Portland and Tucson, Arizona.

Rahm got her start in hospitality as Director of Marketing and Promotions for Congress Street Clubs LLC in Tucson, AZ. Born and raised in Ojai, CA, Rahm earned an Associate Degree from Pima Community College in Tucson. Now right at home in Portland - again - she enjoys traveling the world as well as exploring Portland's ever growing, iconic food scene. She also enjoys live music and attending sports event, residing in the downtown area with her Golden Retriever, Johnny Cash.
