Chef Gogoi started his career as a trainee from the Radisson Blu hotel in Noida. After a stint of four years with the hotel, Chef Gogoi moved to the United States of America where he picked up the necessary skills to thrive in the culinary world and also worked in a cruise line during his time abroad. Chef Gogoi specializes in Indian as well as various Asian cuisines with emphasis on contemporary style of cooking with focus on the presentation and garnishing.
Chef Gogoi, who began his Marriott journey three years ago, is a select service pre-opening champion, as he set out his journey at Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu as their Head Chef. He has worked across India with prestigious brands such as The Oberoi group, Taj hotels, Radisson and The Lalit.
