Cornish hotel in ‘outstanding location’ on the coast hits the market for £2.5m

A four-star hotel in Cornwall situated in an ‘outstanding location’ on the coast has come to market with an asking price of £2.5m.

Savills is marketing the 30-bedroom Meudon Country House Hotel on behalf of owner Gaye Woods, with the plot also coming with its own private beach and 8 acres of historic, ‘subtropical’ gardens which date back to the 1800s.

The hotel has featured on the Channel 5 series The Hotel Inspector with Alex Polizzi, and also on Channel 4’s Four in a Bed.

Meudon Country House Hotel is also home to an AA Rosette restaurant, bar, lounge and tapestry room.  

James Greenslade, associate director in the hotels team at Savills Exeter, says: “Positioned in an outstanding private location on the south coast of Cornwall, Meudon Hotel is ideally located to allow visitors to explore all that the area has to offer. From the unique mature gardens, large land holding and private beach there are significant value add opportunities that this property offers.”

Bream House, a five bedroom house in a private position on the headland is available by separate negotiation. The house includes three stables and tack room, 10 acre field with paddock and single stable, sand school and manege.
