JW MARRIOTT Jaipur Resort & Spa has appointed Amit Sachdeva as the  General Manager. A passionate, entrepreneurial hotelier with a hands-on approach, Amit has two decades of rich experience in Luxury, Upper-upscale, Convention, Business and Economy hotel operations with expertise in operations, strategic planning and fiscal leadership. Throughout his career, his people management abilities have made him proficient in heading multicultural team across bands. 

In his previous assignment, Amit was serving as the Hotel Manager of the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel & Lakeside Chalet Mumbai, Marriott Executive Apartments since 2017. He has also worked with prestigious brands such as Oberoi Hotels, The Imperial, AccorHotels, Carlson Rezidor Hotels across India. He is known to be a result-driven professional who is extremely passionate about all aspects of hotel functions from operations, recruitment, training, sales and marketing, revenue generation to CSR activities. 

In his previous assignments, he was responsible for the development and implementation of departmental strategies and alignment of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. Amit graduated from the Institute of Hotel Management Chandigarh, and in a bid to stay abreast of the market scenarios in the world of Hospitality, he has periodically completed various leadership development programs and certificate courses.
