Since Shariff’s appointment in November 2017, Citymax Hotels has seen growth in spite of challenging times in the hospitality industry.

The Citymax Hotels portfolio has maintained its RGI (revenue generation index) in the face of increasing competition during 2018-19 financial year.

The group’s employee satisfaction scores have seen a positive impact of 87% due to a focus on employee engagement and wellbeing as well as training to enhance employee skills, product knowledge and personality development.

Shariff has even lead his team to achieving increased occupancy rates of 10%. Citymax Hotels have also expanded into Ras Al Khaimah with hotel openings planned for Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Alexandria, Egypt.

The Citymax Hotels portfolio has maintained its RGI (revenue generation index) in the face of increasing competition during 2018-19 financial year.

Citymax Hotels has also seen a lower employee attrition rate of 22%, positive NPS (net promoter score) score of 85% and the successful launch of two new hotels within the Citymax Hotels portfolio across the United Arab Emirates, GCC and Africa, all within one year.
