Puerto Rico's El Conquistador Resort plans to reopen in on May 21, after an extended period of closure following Hurricane Maria in September 2017.

Located in Fajardo on Puerto Rico's northeast coast, the property previously operated under the Waldorf Astoria flag but will no longer be affiliated with the luxury brand.

The 230-room, oceanfront resort offers access to several dining venues, including the Hills Golf Grill, El Cafecito, Bella Vista Cafe, Cafe Las Brisas and the Oasis Grill, as well as a golf course and waterpark.

To commemorate its reopening, the El Conquistador Resort is including complimentary passes to its Coqui Water Park and free parking in the rate of stay through Sept. 30.
