To meet growing demand in the home delivery sector, Abela Online has announced expansion plans. Customers will now be able to place orders for home-cooked gourmet foods to be delivered in Abu Dhabi from Saturday-Thursday between three slots from 9am to 6pm.

To ensure smooth operations, orders will be available within Abu Dhabi city only and will not be accessible in areas such as Al Ruwais, Bateen Liwa, Al Marfa, Tarif, Westin Marina Zayed, Al Hamra, Al Silla and Ghiyathi.

Abela & Co unveiled its new e-commerce platform, Abela Online in December 2020. The choice of products available on the platform includes a wide range of homemade snacks and appetisers, Arabic mezze, soups & sauces, gourmet pies & quiches, cheese platters, meatballs & burger patties, frozen meals and desserts, all made by a team of award-winning chefs.

Brian Gambin, Head of Business Development of Abela & Co, says: “The reaction to the launch of our e-commerce platform has been truly outstanding. People came to us looking for the good quality gourmet foods that they could not find elsewhere – they knew the brand and believed in it.”

“Our goal is to deliver outstanding service in Abu Dhabi’s key districts and develop the business with the objective of becoming market leaders in the UAE. The success of Abela Online stems from its commitment to innovation, quality and superior customer experience.”
