Marin Management, Hotel Equities and Donohoe Hospitality Services added new hotels to their management portfolios recently. These properties consist of three Arizona hotels and one each in Florida and Virginia.
Marin Management
After taking on eight properties earlier this year, Sausalito, Calif.-based Marin Management recently added another three, all in Arizona. The hotels—the 131-room Hotel Scottsdale, the 125-room Red Lion Inn & Suites Phoenix-Tempe and the 73-room Days Inn by Wyndham Wilcox—together add 329 rooms to the company’s management portfolio. Including these locations, Marin Management now operates 27 hotels across California, Arizona, Texas and Wyoming.
Hotel Equities
Hotel Equities added The Island, by Hotel RL in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., to its management portfolio. The 331-room hotel is one of eight properties the company now operates along Florida’s Gulf Coast. Tripp Tolbert, CEO of Tolbert Group and Jay Odom, CEO of The Jay Odom Group, own the hotel. The two have invested in extensive property renovations, including remodeled common areas and guestrooms. The work is in its final stages, with a grand unveiling scheduled for spring 2020. The hotel features 14,00 square feet of event space, two restaurants, a heated lap pool, a grotto waterfall pool with a swim-up bar and a Gulf-front bar.
Donohoe Hospitality Services
Donohoe Hospitality Services began managing the 109-rom Hilton Garden Inn Alexandria (Va.) Old Town King St. Metro. The hotel is located two blocks from a Metro stop, providing easy access into Washington, D.C. It is also 15 minutes from Washington Reagan National Airport and 45 minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport. The property includes a restaurant and bar, a fitness center, a meeting room and a business center.
